DES MOINES, IA - Officials have released the name of the man who died in a crash at SE 14th St and Watrous Ave on Dec. 23, 2023, according to We Are Iowa.
The driver of a 2009 Chrysler 300 struck a 2017 Lexus ES350 as it was turning onto the southbound SE 14th St from a business parking lot around 7:20 p.m.
Rescue crews transported both drivers to an area hospital. One of the drivers, Roberto Eduardo Rodriguez Peterson, 32, died at the hospital. It is unclear which vehicle he was driving.
