Jamie is originally from northwest Iowa and moved to Des Moines to attend Drake University where she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Law, Politics, and Society. She went on to attend Drake University Law School where she graduated with her J.D. and a certificate in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Jamie was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 2018.
Jamie specializes in criminal defense, taking on both misdemeanor and felony cases. She also practices in the area of family law, particularly divorce, child custody and visitation, and modification actions. She zealously represents her clients in and out of court to obtain favorable outcomes.
Outside of the office, you’ll find Jamie trying out new restaurants with her husband, Todd, or hanging out at Paws and Pints with her two golden retrievers, Ellie and Sophie.
