DES MOINES, IA - According to We Are Iowa, the Des Moines Police Department is investigating a fatal wreck that happened at SE 14th Street and Watrous Ave on Saturday.
A 2009 Chrysler 300 driver hit the driver of a 2017 Lexus ES350 when they entered the southbound lanes from a parking lot around 7:20 p.m.
Rescue crews transported both drivers to an area hospital, where one of them died. The other driver is still in the hospital in serious condition.
Officials have not released the names of either driver.
