DES MOINES, IA- Multiple homes and vehicles were damaged after two vehicles crashed into multiple houses during a street race in Des Moines on Sunday, according to Des Moines Police Reporting.

At approximately 4:23am, officials reported a collision with potential injuries near the 2100 block of East 14th Street. It was then confirmed that multiple vehicles crashed into houses in the area during an apparent street race. Multiple houses were significantly damaged and parked cars in the area were hit as well. No injuries have been confirmed at this time, but multiple individuals involved fled the scene. No other details have been identified at this time.
