WASHINGTON COUNTY, IA - The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that happened at IA 1 and 150th St on Friday.
A 69-year-old man was driving a 2001 Chevy Silverado north on IA 1 when he strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 38-year-old around 7:46 p.m.
Rescue crews transported both drivers to an area hospital. A 3-year-old, a 5-year-old, and a 14-year-old were also injured in the collision but did not require hospitalization.
