POWESHIEK COUNTY, IA - The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a deadly single-vehicle crash that happened at IA 146 and 520th Ave on Friday.
A 30-year-old male drove a 2003 Chevy Silverado north on IA 146 when they lost control of the icy road and entered a ditch around 6:42 a.m. The vehicle then rolled over onto its roof.
Rescue crews pronounced the driver's 31-year-old passenger dead at the scene and transported the driver to an area hospital.
