News: Troopers investigate 2-vehicle crash in Soldier

SOLDIER, IA - The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that happened at IA 183 and IA 37 on Friday.

A 21-year-old man was driving a semi-truck east on IA 37 when he struck a Chevy Impala operated by a 31-year-old woman who had run a stop sign around 1 p.m.

The collision sent both vehicles crashing into a ditch in the intersection's northeast corner.

Rescue crews transported the 31-year-old woman to an area hospital.

The 21-year-old man was not hurt in the incident.
