DALLAS CENTER, IA - A driver died and his passenger was injured in a two-vehicle crash on IA 44 Monday, according to KCCI.
A concrete mixer truck driver rear-ended a 69-year-old male at 9:46 a.m.
Rescue crews performed life-saving measures on the 69-year-old before pronouncing him dead a the scene.
The 69-year-old's passenger suffered minor injuries in the incident. The truck driver was not hurt.
The crash is under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
