WELLSBURG, IA - Officials have released additional information concerning the deadly crash on US 20 near the Wellsburg exit Friday, according to We Are Iowa.
A person was driving a van west on US 20 when they lost control of the vehicle around 7 a.m. due to slick roads and rolled over multiple times before stopping in the eastbound lane.
A 1-year-old boy, a 2-year-old girl, a 4-year-old girl, and a 22-ear old man died in the incident. Rescue crews transported the 9 survivors to an area hospital.
None of the occupants of the vehicle were wearing seatbelts or child car seats.
