BUENA VISTA COUNTY, IA - According to the Iowa State Patrol, troopers are investigating a deadly two-vehicle collision that happened at US-71 and 550TH St on Friday.
A 30-year-old woman was driving a 2019 Chevy Trax when she pulled out from a stop sign into the path of a southbound 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by a 47-year-old man around 7:11 a.m. The Ram hit the Trax on the driver's side.
Rescue crews pronounced the Trax driver and her 62-year-old female passenger dead at the scene. They treated the Ram driver at the scene for minor injuries.
