DES MOINES, IA - According to We Are Iowa, firefighters rescued two people from a burning home near 17th St and Forest Ave on Tuesday.
The house's residents could not escape the house and called the fire department.
Firefighters rescued the people from the house. Rescue crews then transported them to an area hospital.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
