OTTUMWA, IA - A 31-year-old woman and a 3-year-old child died in a house fire on Saturday, according to KCCI.
The fire broke out around 7:30 p.m. Firefighters fought the fire for around eight hours.
A few residents were able to exit the house safely.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
