IOWA FALLS, IA - According to We Are Iowa, officials have provided additional details concerning the fatal collision on 19424 County Hwy D15 Monday.
An 83-year-old man from Iowa Falls was heading south on County Rd D15 when he strayed into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with another vehicle.
The 83-year-old died in the wreck. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The other driver was not hurt in the incident.
The accident is under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
