BENTON COUNTY, IA - The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that happened at US 30 and 33rd Ave on Monday.
A 48-year-old person was driving a 2012 Chevy Traverse west on US 30 when they collided with a southbound 2014 Mazda 3 operated by a 25-year-old around 5:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported both drivers to area hospitals. Nobody else was inside either vehicle.
