OSKALOOSA, IA - According to WHO 13, a semi-truck driver collided with a child on US 63 on Friday.
The driver was heading south on US 63 when they hit the child as they were trying to cross the street around 5 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the child to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Following the collision, the semi-truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The police did not cite the driver for the crash.
