GUTHRIE COUNTY, IA - A driver struck and killed a bicyclist on IA 40 near Bluff St on Wednesday, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
An 83-year-old man was driving a 2013 Ford F150 west on IA 44 when he collided with a bicycle ridden by a 69-year-old man around 5:38 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the bicyclist to an area hospital, where he died.
The truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
