QUASQUETON, IA - One person died in a fire on the 700 block of Cedar St E on Sunday, according to KCRG.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 3:10 a.m. They found the flames coming from the windows of the home. Bystanders alerted crews that a woman lived there and flames were coming from her bedroom.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and found a 69-year-old woman inside the home.
Rescue crews performed life-saving measures on the woman before pronouncing her dead at the scene.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
