ADAIR COUNTY, IA - A man was hurt when a semi-truck tire came crashing through the windshield on I-80 near Dexter on Monday, according to KCCI.
Two men were in a car heading west on I-80 when a semi-truck driver heading east had two tires fly off the semi-truck and go over the barrier. One of the tires slammed into the passenger side of the car.
Crews transported the man to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Troopers cited the semi-truck driver for breaking safety rules.
