COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA - A driver struck and killed a pedestrian at Veterans Memorial Hwy and Twin City Dr on Sunday, according to KCCI.
The driver hit the victim when they were crossing the street near Chapel Ridge Apartments around 6:30 p.m.
The incident is under investigation by the Council Bluffs Police Department. They do not believe speed or impairment played a role in the incident.
