DES MOINES, IA - A driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on the 6900 block of SE 14th St Friday, according to We Are Iowa.
A 64-year-old woman was driving a 2020 Lincoln MKZ north on SE 14th St when she hit the victim, a 52-year-old man, around 9 p.m.
Emergency crews transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died.
Authorities do not believe impairment played a role in the accident.
