RUNNELLS, IA - According to We Are Iowa, a woman was hurt when she drove into a pond near SE 108th St Wednesday.
The 34-year-old female driver was heading south on SE 108th St when she ran a stop sign and crashed into the pond.
Emergency crews extricated the woman and transported her by helicopter to an area hospital in serious but stable condition.
