WEST BURLINGTON, IA - According to KWQC, a driver died in a single-vehicle collision on Hwy 34 near S Gear Avenue Thursday.
The driver was heading east on Hwy 34 when they crossed the median and westbound lanes of traffic and hit a ditch before slamming into a tree around 5:50 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died.
