MT. VERNON, IA - The woman injured in a motorcycle crash southwest of Mount Vernon on Thursday morning.
According to a report by KWWL, 28-year-old Tessa Metzger of Iowa City was riding in the 400 block of Cedar River Road, just north of IA-1 at about 9:47 a.m. when she lost control of her motorcycle. The then bike veered off the roadway and struck a ditch.
Metzger was rushed to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No updates on her condition are available at this time.
