COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA - According to WOWT, a semi-truck tire caused a traffic accident on westbound I-80 Monday.
A semi-truck heading east on I-80 lost a tire. That tire went into the westbound lanes and collided with the driver of a Honda CR-V.
The CR-V driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.
The Council Bluffs Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
It is unclear exactly where on I-80 the wreck took place.
