MOUNT PLEASANT, IA - A boy lost his life in a house fire on the 2300 block of 220th St on June 13, according to KWQC.
Firefighters were dispatched to the home around 11:29 p.m. The structure was completely engulfed by the time they arrived.
Crews discovered the body of a 13-year-old boy inside the house after the fire was put out.
The incident is under investigation by the Iowa State Fire Marshall's Office.
