LEE COUNTY, IA - One person died in a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck at 205th Ave and IA 16 Saturday, according to KWQC.
A semi-truck driver hit an SUV driven by a 16-year-old when the 16-year-old failed to yield at the intersection around noon.
The 16-year-old was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the SUV upon impact.
Rescue crews pronounced the 16-year-old dead at the scene.
