DES MOINES, IA – At least one person was hurt when a driver slammed into a utility pole at 34th St and Hickman Rd Wednesday.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the accident around 6:42 a.m.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Des Moines Police Department.
