News: Officials ID pedestrian killed in Council Bluffs

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA - Officials have released the identity of the pedestrian who was struck and killed at Poplar Drive and Birch St on Sunday, according to KCCI.

A 47-year-old female driver from Pacific Junction hit the 74-year-old male pedestrian as he was standing near his vehicle around around 3:20 a.m.

The victim died at the scene. The driver was not hurt in the collision.

The Council Bluffs Police Department is investigating the incident.
