HEDRICK, IA - According to the Iowa State Patrol, a driver fatally collided with another vehicle at IA 92 and 285th Ave on Friday.
A 31-year-old male was driving a 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck west on IA 92 when he strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a 74-year-old male around 9:58 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the 74-year-old dead at the scene and transported the 31-year-old to an area hospital.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
