WAVERLY, IA - A driver was hurt in a crash during a police chase on IA 3 in Waverly Monday, according to KCCI.
An 18-year-old male led police on a chase in a Volkswagen Beetle before crashing into a ditch.
The driver was ejected from the Beetle during the collision.
Rescue crews transported the driver to an area hospital following the wreck.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
