DES MOINES, IA- Officials reported and responded to a crash on IA-5 northbound that closed the right roadway shoulder on Thursday morning, according to Statewide Iowa 511 Reporting.

At approximately 6:51am, a crash occurred on IA-5 northbound near the intersections of US 69, US 65, and IA 28 near Des Moines. No other information about the crash has been confirmed, but the incident closed the shoulder of the highway in the area of the collision.
