News: Dump truck crash on IA-78 injures driver

HENRY CO., IA - A man from southeast Iowa was hospitalized last Thursday following a crash in Henry County, according to KTVO.

Henry County Sheriff's Deputies say the driver of a dump truck lost control of the vehicle in the eastbound lanes of IA-78, causing it to veer off the roadway, hit a ditch, and overturn on its passenger side.

The driver, a 56-year-old Floris Man, was taken to Henry County Health Center to be treated for unspecified injuries. It is unclear at this time what caused him to lose control of the truck.

Traffic was delayed in the area for some time following the crash while crews worked to clear spilt debris from the roadway.
