News: 2 hospitalized after crash near Indian Bluffs Wildlife Mgmt. Area in Jones Co.

JONES CO., IA - Two people were sent to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Jones County on Saturday afternoon.

According to a report by KWWL, the crash happened at the intersection of Iowa Highway 136 and Jones County Highway E17, near Indian Bluffs Wildlife Management Area.

Investigators say a 62-year-old man was northbound on IA-136 when his vehicle collided with a 1999 Lincoln Continental as it was heading east on County Highway E17.

The driver of the Lincoln, a 49-year-old woman, was airlifted to UIHC in Iowa City with potentially life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to Jones Regional Hospital Center in Anamosa with less serious injuries.
