CEDAR RAPIDS - A man was killed late last night when his pickup truck collided with a grain bin just west of Cedar Rapids, according to KCRG.
The crash happened at about 11:18 p.m. on US-30 near the intersection wit Benton Linn Road.
Investigators say a 2016 Ford F-150 pickup truck was heading east on the freeway when it drifted into the oncoming lanes and slammed into the grain bin.
The driver of the pickup, a 60-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
No additional injuries have been reported as an immediate result of the incident.
