DES MOINES, IA - Police and firefighters in Des Moines responded to a hit-and-run near River Drive Park on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a report by the Des Moines Police, the crash happened on Douglas Avenue near the intersection with the Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway shortly before 4 p.m.

At least one person was reportedly injured as a result of the collision. However, the extent of their injuries is unclear at his time.
