CEDAR CO., IA - A 76-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries yesterday when her Chevrolet Trailblazer was hit by a box truck east of Rochester, KWWL reports.
The accident happened at about 8:40 a.m. on IA-38 at CR-F44.
Police say that the 23-year-old driver of the box truck was attempting to pass the Trailblazer but collided with it instead.
Emergency responders took the woman to an area hospital so she could be treated for life-threatening injuries. We will provide updates on her condition if possible.
Nobody else was hurt as a result of the crash.
