WEST DES MOINES, IA- Officials confirmed a house fire on Ponderosa Drive on Wednesday morning, according to KCCI News.
At approximately 7:30am, occupants of the home woke up to the smell of smoke due to an attic fire caused by lightning. Officials responded to the incident on Ponderosa Drive shortly after. No other details have been confirmed at this time.
