POLK COUNTY, IA -- A vehicle accident Friday morning blocked a left lane on U.S. Highway 6 near Adventureland Park in Altoona, according to Stateside Iowa 511.
The crash happened on the westbound interstate from U.S. Highway 65 and Interstate to U.S. Highway 65 (Exit 83). It was first reported by Iowa 511 at 7:48 a.m.

Shortly before 8:00 a.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway with all lanes reopened to traffic.
