News: Pedestrian hurt following multi-vehicle crash on Front St in Stuart

STUART, IA - According to the Iowa State Patrol, a pedestrian was injured in a wreck on W Front St near Adair St Tuesday.

A 74-year-old male was driving a Dodge pickup truck east on Front St when he rear-ended a disabled Chrysler Sebring.

The collision propelled the vehicle into a 44-year-old pedestrian between the Sebring and a Chevrolet Equinox who was assisting the occupants of the Sebring with the disabled vehicle.

Rescue crews transported the pedestrian to an area hospital with serious injuries.
