BOONE, IA - A driver died after rear-ending a semi-truck on Hwy 30 Monday, according to KCCI.
A 63-year-old male semi-truck driver was slowing to turn onto a private field when a 34-year-old man driving a pickup truck rear-ended him around 5:30.
Rescue crews transported the 34-year-old driver to an area hospital, where he died. The semi-truck driver was not hurt in the incident.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the wreck.
