VAN METER, IA - According to the Iowa State Patrol, three people were hurt in a single-vehicle collision at Elm St and East St Friday.
A 16-year-old male was driving a Chevy Equinox north on East St when he failed to negotiate a curve and collided with an embankment.
EMS crews transported the 16-year-old driver and his two passengers, a 16-year-old female and a 17-year-old female, to an area hospital.
