News: 2-vehicle collision injures 1 person in Linn County

LINN COUNTY, IA - One person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision at N Marion Rd and County Home Rd Saturday, according to KCRG.

A 16-year-old boy driving a Hyundai Elantra was heading north on N Marion Rd when he failed to yield to and collided with a Ford F150 driven by Gregory Rowland, 30. The impact sent the Elantra into a ditch.

Rescue crews transported a passenger from the Elantra to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Rowland and his passenger were not hurt in the incident.

Authorities cited the 16-year-old with failure to yield when entering a highway.
