CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - According to Linn County Sheriff's Office, a semi-truck driver was hurt when he collided with a pillar on IA 30 under IA 100 Wednesday.

Thomas Pohlman was heading west on IA 30 when it strayed off the road and hit a light pole. The driver drove through a roadway cable barrier before plowing into an overpass pillar.
Rescue crews were called to the scene of the accident around 5:59 a.m. They transported Pohlman to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
