TAMA, IA - A motorcyclist from Des Moines suffered fatal injuries following a multi-vehicle crash in Tama on Sunday, KCCI reports.
The crash occurred at about 4 p.m. when the 23-year-old motorcyclist attempted to cross several lanes of travel on Highway 30 and slammed into the side of a passenger vehicle.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle involved was taken to a hospital in Marshalltown in unknown condition.
