DES MOINES, IA - A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup truck at an intersection in Central Des Moines on Friday night, KCCI reports.
The 26-year-old motorcyclist was traveling west on Ingersoll Avenue when he collided with an eastbound pickup truck that was making a left-hand turn onto 17th Street. He died as a result of the crash.
The truck's 43-year-old male driver was unhurt.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing. It is unclear whether any criminal charges will be filed.
