DES MOINES, IA – According to Des Moines Police, officers responded to an accident with injury at I-235 EB and 2nd Ave on Sunday.
I-235, eastbound, 2nd Ave: DMPD & @DSMFireDept on scene of crash with injury. Center lane temporarily closed. Please stay alert for first responders and expect temporary delays in this area.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
