SIOUX CITY, IA - A police chase ended with a fatal crash at Gordon Dr and Spalding St on Wednesday, according to WHO 13.
Troopers were pursuing a 40-year-old woman driving a PT Cruiser because she was speeding and driving erratically.
Authorities terminated the pursuit around 4:30 p.m. The woman then rear-ended a pickup truck before rolling over and hitting an SUV.
Rescue crews transported the woman to an area hospital, where she died. They also treated the pickup truck driver for minor injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
