ANKENY, IA - Fire crews were called to the scene of a garage fire on the 2700 block of NE Trilein Dr Wednesday, according to WHO 13.
The fire broke out around 6:54 p.m. Heavy fire was coming from the garage by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.
Officials upgraded the blaze to a second alarm. This move brought resources in from neighboring fire departments.
Crews were able to quickly put out the fire.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
The house and garage were seriously damaged.
