CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - Emergency crews were called to the scene of an apartment fire on the 1400 block of Oakland Rd NE Monday, according to KCRG.
The fire started in one of the apartments around 2 a.m. The incident caused the aparment minor fie and moderate smoke damage.
The occupant of the apartment was able to exit the building without injury.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
