WATERLOO, IA - A dog attack killed a 9-month-old child and injured a 49-year-old woman inside a home on the 1200 block of Scott Ave Thursday, according to KCRG.
The dog attacked the two victims around 7:22 a.m. Rescue crews pronounced the child dead at the scene and transported the woman to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Officials have not released the victims' names.
